Chromatic FM ("we", "us", or "our") owns and operates an internet radio service (the “service”) available across a number of platforms through the web, mobile devices and tablets. This Privacy Policy outlines how we protect your privacy when you use Chromatic FM as well has how we use, share, and control any information you may provide while using the service. The Privacy Policy is part of the Chromatic FM Terms of Service that govern your use of the service we provide to you.



Before you start using Chromatic FM we ask that you provide your email address, gender, zip code, and birth year along with a password that will be linked with your account.


Certain features in Chromatic FM require payment of a fee. Should you desire to pay for these portions, we require you provide your name and credit card information.

Voluntary Information:

While using our service, certain situations may arise (emails, questionnaires, surveys, ads, newsletters) that require additional information. Whenever you provide Chromatic FM with this information, we or other third parties acting on our behalf will receive the information.

From time to time we may monitor how our listeners are using our service. We pay attention to what kind of broadcasters users are listening to, the type of music they are interested in, how they are voting on certain songs the broadcaster is playing etc. Further, the service provides you with the ability to post comments and messages on boards in Chromatic FM. We are not responsible for any information you make available in these features as anyone using the service can read and use any information you post.

Information Sent to Us by your Web Browser


While you are using the service, Chromatic may collect non-personally identifiable technical information through the use of log files and servers (internet and application servers automatically create log files as part of their setup). Log files can contain information such as your IP address, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), MAC address, file requested, date/time stamps, among other use information. We may also collect information about the type of device you accessed our service with. Public Profile or Message Boards:

Chromatic provides you with the opportunity to comment and post in the service about a particular broadcaster you are listening to. Any information you post may be read and collected publically.

De-Identified Data:

We may also share de-identified data (statistics about demographics, trends, music, voting numbers etc.) with third parties. We do so in order to better improve the service we provide to you. Disclosure of de-identified, anonymous data is not subject to any restrictions under this policy.

Device Information:

Chromatic may also share device information we receive with third parties for the purpose of analyzing how users are accessing the service, fraud prevention, debugging, and providing you with the correct advertisements.


We will make assurances that any information that is transferred to third parties will be safeguarded in a manner consistent with this policy.

Management for Your Information

Modification and Retention:

You may modify the registration data you provided in the settings portion of the service. So long as you have an active account with Chromatic we will retain your information. Once you deactivate your account, we will cease retaining your information.

Email Preferences:

Once you register for the service you have the option to receive email's tailored to your interests. You may unsubscribe from any emails you do not wish to receive and reserve the right to change whether or not you receive these emails at any time.

Account Management:

You may cancel or deactivate your account at any time. However, doing so does not guarantee that all information you provided while using the service will be erased. For instance, any information you post or comment may still be available on the service. Further, when you have an active profile on the site your activity will available for other users to view and see.

Search Engines

Even after you have deactivated your account, a number of search engines may cache available webpages and make them available. These cached pages may contain some of your personal information.


We may share information with advertising partners in order to send you promotional communications about Chromatic, including relevant advertising for products and services that may be of interest to you. The information we share is in a de-identified format that does not personally identify you.

Further, this privacy policy extends only to the Chromatic FM service not any third party service that may be reached while using Chromatic FM.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

Due to the ever changing landscape of internet security, we may need to update our privacy policy from time to time. Should changes be necessary we will promptly notify you via a post on our service or through an email address you provided to us.

Our Web servers and databases are located in the United States and in other countries. We may transfer your personal information among our offices and to our service providers and others located in the United States or other countries for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
